Hope ~ Battle of the Creative Teams Layout #3
This week's challenge was a numbered challenge. Our team had to pick what was on our list ~ much harder than it sounds as it took us a few days to collaborate and agree to the list. WE all have different scrapping styles and have our little favorite embellies we like to use. In addition, our team chose VIRTUES as an additional theme to using the list. I chose HOPE for my page.

SPEED SCRAP @ FUNKY PLAYGROUND
OK fellow scrappers, there's a Speed Scrap this weekend, August 1st, at 9 pm EST/8 pm CST, at The Funky Playground!
If you've never attended a Speed Scrap ~ well, the basics are that you get instructions every 10 minutes for an hour, during which time you are slowly building your layout. You are then given a final hour to complete your page and upload it to the gallery and link back to the Speed Scrap thread in the forum. There are some cool prizes for the Speed Scrap, fun chatter, and you get a layout completed.

Love Grows
Well, before I could come to my blog and post this, it made the DST Gallery Standouts. You can view that here: DST GSO July 20, 2009.
And here is the layout, my first layout for the Battle of the Creative Teams at DSA. Our first challenge was to use a common color theme and theme for the layouts ~ we chose B&W photos paired with off white, black, green and a touch of blue.
